OUR APPROACH
We invest in Africa’s most promising Student Founders to build new companies from scratch.
1.
We identify remarkable individuals who have something to prove. We are confident that the greatest returns in venture will come from Founders who are capable but have not yet had the opportunity to show the world their talents and capabilities.
2.
We hold strong convictions about what it takes to get a new company off the ground. We invest capital as well as the full strength of our team—business and technical product leaders equipped with hands-on experience at the best technology companies of the past decade.
3.
We focus on building companies with a defensible business model and/or proprietary technology in industries ripe for change. We make investments to intensify their efforts in either outperforming incumbents or disrupting the status quo.

We are united in the belief that investing in the next generation of African Techpreneurs is both a profitable endeavor and a positive social good.

Angel investors often come from a variety of backgrounds, including successful entrepreneurs, business executives, and professionals who not only invest financially but may also offer valuable management advice, industry expertise, and networking opportunities to help the startups grow and succeed.
-
Becoming an Angel requires a formal application and two interviews with existing Angels or Super Angels.
-
Well, that varies. Successful exits can take several years; it takes time to build a new company. The economy at large has a lot to do with exits, too. Expect a company to grow for 5 or more years before a successful exit.
